The William Robinson School
A Cherished History
Designed in 1925 by renowned architect Willis Irvin and completed in 1927, William Robinson is the cherished grade school of countless Augusta adults. Now two brothers whose family and friends attended the school are reinventing it as residences of the unmatched quality exhibited in their other development projects. Braye and Clay Boardman are champions of historic preservation and environmental conservation throughout Augusta and Georgia. The SchoolHOUSE is the historically and environmentally sensitive conversion of one of Summerville’s most loved public buildings to 12 luxury condominiums. While the historic fabric of William Robinson will remain virtually unchanged, The SchoolHOUSE will combine the latest trends in sustainable construction and landscaping with the utmost attention to detail in interior plans and finishes.
